Legal Services Offered by Our On-Demand Tucson Patent Attorneys

Our experienced Tucson patent attorneys & lawyers represent individuals and businesses throughout the world with domestic and foreign patent preparation and prosecution matters. They have extensive experience handling applications from nearly every sector of technology, including biotechnology, computer hardware and software, communication networks, internet systems and methods, automotive, medical equipment, construction technology, consumer electronics, and clean technology research and development.

Our patent attorneys are of the most highly trained in the industry, requiring a scientific background, and passing a second level of testing known as the Patent Bar Examination. Thousands of patents are submitted to the patent office every day and a patent committee reviews each patent for its validity. The process requires that correctly drafted documentation present a clear case for the novelty of the invention, which is best made by a patent attorney with a higher education background in your industry.

Our Tucson patent attorneys & lawyers can help you file a provisional patent, which lasts for 1-year and allows you to immediately begin using/manufacturing your invention with the confidence that your idea is protected. These types of patents are great if you think your idea will change a lot over the next year before you file a (non-provisional) patent. These patents are easier to obtain and are less expensive but you should have a patent lawyer review your provisional patent application to insure that you are meeting your objectives when you file your patent.

Very concise in communication right from the first day, clarify the process to make sure we were on the same page of what she was yet to explain of the needed steps. Immediate responses to messages, which made me comfortable not just with her but to also trust the UpCounsel process itself, feeling my idea is in safe hands! Mandana, you are one of a kind - clear communication to set clear expectations, on-time response, demonstrated knowledge you are willing to share, and beat the deadline I was expecting! Thank YOU!"

Conduct Patent Search

Richard Eldredge

"Mr. Eldredge provided me with a 3 page patent search promptly. I reviewed the patent search and had a few questions. I tried to contact Mr. Eldredge to go over the patent search and I left a voicemail. He did not return my call. On my second attempt (4/23/18), Mr. Eldredge stated that he did not have my file in front of him. He schedule a phone call with me for 4/27/1/ at 11:00 AM Central Standard time. Mr. Eldredge stated that he would call me; I never received a call. I attempted to contact Mr. Eldredge at 11:10 AM Central Standard time on 4/27/18, but he did not answer. I left a voicemail. At this point, I will not attempt to make contact. I have a three page patent search that will need to be reviewed by another lawyer before I can decide to move forward with a provisional patent (utility and/or design). I am disappointed because I had planned to retain Mr. Eldredge to complete the provisional application, technical drawings, technical description, and evaluation of product along with another patent search for my next idea. I also wanted to discuss copy right versus trademark. My goal was to form a long lasting relationship and this experience fell short of my expectations. I do think that Mr. Eldredge should have at least reviewed the three page search with me as it is the legal aspect that I need to understand in order to move forward. I will be actively searching for another lawyer, so I can pursue my goals."
