Corporation Spousal Consent Form

The Spousal Consent Form for a corporation, is intended to be signed by the spouse of the stock holder or by the stockholder confirming that they are not married. Due to marriage property rights, spouses are encouraged to sign on to the stock agreements signed by the other spouse.

The undersigned does hereby certify that [s]he is the spouse of [Purchaser Name] the individual who executed the [Company Name] Stock Purchase Agreement dated [Date of Stock Purchase Agreement] (the “Agreement”).  I acknowledge that my spouse’s ownership in the Interest (as defined in the Agreement) shall be irrevocably subject to the restrictions and bound by the terms of the Agreement.  I further understand and agree that my community property interest in such securities, if any, shall similarly be subject to said restrictions and bound by said terms.  I agree to execute and deliver such documents as may be necessary to carry out the intent of the Agreement.
