Manager, Operations & Strategy

UpCounsel is looking for an Operations & Strategy Manager to help optimize and scale our marketplace. You’ll join as a key member of our fast-growing team, working directly with the Director of Operations & Strategy to define and execute on strategic initiatives that allow us to more efficiently and effectively match companies with attorneys. You’ll lead growth and scale initiatives across and within legal categories considering solutions across product, experience, operations, marketing, etc. for both companies and attorneys.  To be successful you’ll need strong analytical capabilities along with a strategic mind to identify opportunities for improvement, and the leadership and project management skills to design and implement solutions. At UpCounsel you will:

  • Experiment – Use data to identify and test opportunities to drive marketplace performance
  • Build & Optimize – Scale new and existing categories, products, and processes to allow the business to efficiently operate and grow
  • Drive Improvement – Proactively identify new product opportunities or features to improve user coverage, conversion, and satisfaction and internal operations
  • Collaborate – Work cross-functionally with our Sales, Marketing, Data and Product teams to execute on strategic initiatives

And have:

  • 4-6 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, business operations, strategy or related experience; high-growth start-up and marketplace experience a plus
