Managing Partner

Apr 2014 - Dec 2015

We provide our clients with the In-House Counsel Experience at every stage of their life cycle. Traditional in-house attorneys are costly. And most businesses either cannot afford or do not have the need for a full-time attorney on staff. The Wagoner Firm offers representation packages based on each client’s legal demands and budget. In return for a modest monthly fee, our clients receive direct access to their qualified business attorney so they can focus on what they do best – managing their company.

We understand that our In-House Counsel Experience is not for everyone. That is why we continue to offer a host of individual practice areas focused on Business Law, Litigation, Energy Law and Real Property. Our attorneys are capable of tackling a wide variety of legal issues and we offer our clients multiple of payment options including hourly fees, contingency fees, and project or flat fee arrangements.

We are passionate about developing long-term strategic partnerships with our clients and invest our time and expertise (at our own expense) to understand our clients' legal needs and what keeps them up at night, so we are ultimately able to better able to serve their core needs. We would be happy to discuss whether our In-House Counsel Experience is the right fit for your company.

I gained substantial legal experience working as a law clerk in the New York State court system. In my position as the Principal Law Clerk to a Justice, I worked on a broad range of legal disputes involving commercial contracts, the UCC, piercing the corporate veil, injured workers, motor vehicle negligence, property damage, vicarious liability, property owner liability, insurance coverage, intentional torts, real property and foreclosures. My primary responsibilities included researching and drafting proposed decisions and orders on all applications made to the court, including dispositive motions, trial decisions, evidentiary rulings, discovery disputes, emergency applications and hearings. In addition, I was tasked with guiding parties through settlement negotiations in each stage of litigation; in this role, I achieved great success in assisting parties in developing and ultimately reaching amicable resolutions to their disputes. Finally, I interviewed and managed all of the students that take part in our internship program, which included 18 and 15 during the 2010 and 2011 summers, respectively.
