Throughout my career, I have represented high-tech companies - both as in-house corporate counsel, and as outside counsel. I have established an expertise in understanding the nuances of protecting my clients' intellectual property, trade secrets, and new inventions through carefully drafted Non-Disclosure Agreements, Services Agreements and Supply Agreements.
While I appreciate the number of online legal forms available and the cheaper services that offer corporate formations, etc., I do find that often the client wil end up spending more money in the long run due to the number of wrong-turns taken along the process, unfortunately. Of course this is not always the case, and I applaud anyone that can undertake the details of the legal formalities while running a company.
I graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law and received my J.D. and California State Bar license in 1997. I attended U.C. Berkeley where I received my B.A. in History in 1992. I was born and raised in San Francisco, but I now live and work in Oakland.
