Primary responsibilities included business planning and overseeing projects that covered every phase of entity formation and asset acquisition. Specifically focused on drafting land transfer agreements, searching corporate records for compliance deficiencies, and revising various types of contracts. Some of the more extensive projects included creating a non-profit organization and aiding in the creation of a venture capital investment fund.

I mediated small claims cases on a volunteer basis at the North County Superior Court. Along with mediating, my responsibilities included drafting settlement agreements and analyzing the court docket for viable cases.

While working in the areas of real estate, corporate, and bankruptcy law, my duties focused mostly on business litigation assignments. Assignments included drafting pleading documents and responding to discovery requests. Other responsibilities included calendaring upcoming litigation dates and researching obscure areas of law, such as Indian law.

Worked in the area of criminal defense law, including robbery, child abuse, and battery cases. Inventoried and reviewed discovery documents such as photos, witness statements, and video interviews in preparation for trial. I reviewed medical records, creating a concise medical history for the purpose of sentencing recommendations.
