3) I am the devil that plays advocate. For me, negotiation is not a zero sum game. We are in the business of doing business, and in my experience, the best way to achieve that is by bridging the gap with the other side to get the deal done.
4) As your lawyer, my role is to avoid being the “department of no.” I am very comfortable being the only dissenting voice in the room when I need to be. But, that’s not all that I do. It’s my job to build the right legal infrastructure that finds solutions, aligns, and serves your company both now and in the future.
5) In high school, I won the friendship award. I tell you this not because I believe these were my glory days, but because I truly love to work with clients from different backgrounds, industries, and jurisdictions.
