I am an immigrant to the United States. My family endured the arduous process of a family-based petition to obtain what all immigrants desire, a better future for themselves and their family. I recall the years of separation; that is an indelible memory I will always carry with me. Witnessing first-hand the sacrifice my parents made and their desire to obtain U.S. residency and eventually becoming a U.S. Citizen, all to offer a better life for me and my siblings, is the driving impetus behind my personal passion for the law and helping others.
