There was a bit of a miscommunication: I thought the total amount I was required to pay was paid upfront, with the understanding that if the mark was not approved, I would/could pay to file an appeal. There were no problems, but after the mark "cleared", I found out I owed more to file an example of use of the mark for each class, in order to finalize registration. It cost me $500 more than I was expecting. However, overall, it was a great experience."
