Ken is the founder of August Law Group, specializing in domestic and international corporate and financial transactions, governance, mergers and acquisitions and licensing.

Ken began his legal career as part of the team representing US Treasury Secretary William Simon's investment bank, Wesray Corporation, in financial transactions, leveraged buyouts and related corporate activity. His clients include startups to middle market companies and investors.

During his career, Ken has participated as legal counsel in transactions having an aggregate value of more than $2.5 billion. He served as an Adjunct Professor at Whittier Law School… read more (corporations and securities law), and for the University of California at Irvine Graduate School of Management (general legal issues). He has lectured extensively on various legal topics, and was a contributing author for The Art of M&A, (Dow Jones-Irwin, 1987).
