Client Reviews
"We have worked with Ali for many years now. He has prepared multiple patent applications and filings for us. He is well versed in patent law, prompt and always aware of approaching deadlines. He easily understands concepts and is able to complete comprehensive application packages. He has also been very helpful in preparing any required responses. He is very reasonable in his billings and we feel his invoices are more than fair. We would absolutely recommend him."
"Ali helped us to review, specify, draft, and file a Provisional Patent Application and a Design patent, and started us down the road toward a full utility filing. The entire process couldn't have been smoother. He began with a thorough review of our inventions and quickly identified the patentable portions. He's super sharp and quick on the uptake. Ali recommended how additional design patents and/or copyrights and trademarks might help, and just as importantly, how they might not help. He was able to give us a really rounded view of how the filing and protection process plays out and did an excellent job at clarifying tricky legal topics. I think the fact that Ali had worked extensively as an actual product engineer in the past really lets him excel in talking to engineers. Anyhow, as an engineer, I greatly appreciate having a lawyer who can talk through the engineering processes with me and provide thoughtful, critical analysis of my products while identifying applicable strengths and weaknesses. I'm normally a bit hesitant to make blanket recommendations, but this process was exceptionally smooth and I think Ali is well deserving of praise. Awesome."
"Ali helped me so much. He made my case go smooth and simple. He is a very trustworthy person and keeps things clear. He was Great with communicating with me and was very organized with all the paperwork. Highly Recommend!"
"My go to guy for all IP related issues. I've used Ali several times over the past 5 years .If you have an IP issue no further! Ali is always responsive and takes the time necessary to explain issues to process and weighs pros and cons of any particular course of action. I work frequently with a variety of attorneys and Ali is the only one who always keeps me informed. I highly recommend Ali!"
"I have hired Ali for a number of my trademark and patent work. Ali's engineering background is invaluable. Coupled with his experience and extensive knowledge in IP law, Ali is by far the best IP attorney I have worked with. He is thorough and does a great job of explaining things. I referred Ali to my brother for his medical practice and he has also been impressed. We will both be using him for all of our IP work indefinitely."
"Mr. Shalchi was great to work with and really made the process as painless as possible, he was always very responsive and the end result was better than expected."
