Lead Warning
Structures built before 1978 may contain lead-based paint. Lead from this paint, paint chips, and dust can pose health hazards if not properly managed. Lead exposure is especially harmful to pregnant women and young children. Lessors of dwellings built before 1978 are required by law to disclose the presence of known lead-based paint and/or lead-based paint hazards in the property to be rented. Lessees must also be provided with a copy of a federally-produced pamphlet on lead poisoning prevention.
