EIH is a private equity firm that seeks to acquire from the Global 2000 under performing, none-core businesses that are operationally challenged, with a stand-alone enterprise value between $10 million and $50 million. In In addition to my duties at EIH, I also served as the general counsel of many of the acquired companies.

Empire was a private investment firm self-capitalized by its founder. It ceased operations upon EIH Capital commencing operations. All of the employees of Empire became employees of EIH Capital. My duties at Empire were essentially the same as they were at EIH Capital, that the compliance function at EIH was much more robust in light of EIH Capital's limited partner investors.

Duties included: corporate governance; corporate record keeping; disclosure; developing appropriate legal approaches for implementing business and financing strategies; cost efficient conflict resolution; preparation of contracts and other legal documents; employment practices legal compliance; the protection of the company's intellectual property and confidential information.
