Client Reviews
"Austin researched and drafted a motion to dismiss for lack of personal jurisdiction in a case pending in federal court. The motion dealt with issues involving a declaratory judgment action brought a state in which my company did not have minimum contacts with or systematic and continuous contacts with. The motion ended up inducing the Plaintiff in that case to dismiss their case outright instead of going to court and having the court dismiss their case and possible sanctions levied against them for filing a case were personal jurisdiction was obviously not present."
"Austin helped me draft an Exclusive License Agreement so that I would have standing to sue another company that was infringing the subject patent in court. We needed standing to have leverage in our negotiations to enter into an Exclusive License Agreement with a third party. Meticulous drafting of the Exclusive License Agreement was important to give my company substantially all of the rights necessary for us to have standing to pursue companies that were infringing the subject patent."
