James Walsh Dick

I am a licensed Attorney in New York, New Hampshire and Connecticut. My practice is geographically dispersed and I handle many of my cases remotely. I am fluent in Spanish and specialize in Family & Employment-based Immigration Law. I also handle other matters, such as Employment Law, Partnership Formation, and General Legal Research & Drafting, particularly as it relates to Complex Discovery.

I worked at an immigration, naturalization law and consular firm, completing applications for a wide range of corporate and family-based petitions, including: Immediate Relative petitions, EB-2 petitions, H-1B and L-1 visas, O-1, F-1, P-1A and K-1 visas and N-400 naturalization applications. I also acted as a Spanish translator and generated certified translations of Spanish-language documents.

I enrolled for credit and was invited to continue for pay. I worked in a legal clinic with two supervising attorneys on issues including Employment cases, Immigration, Bankruptcy Proceedings, and Judgement Enforcement. I also argued motions before bankruptcy court for a case involving foreign assets and drafted motions for Prejudgment Remedies to restrict alienation of assets.
