Doug Belofsky started out his career as a commercial litigator at the law firms now known as Arnstein & Lehr and Mayer Brown. In his 30 years of practice, he has gained broad expertise representing clients big and small in commercial disputes relating to contracts, insurance coverage, breach of employment contracts and probate matters. Doug is also an arbitrator and mediator for the American Health Lawyers Association and the 19th Circuit in Lake County. Now practicing in Northbrook, Doug acts as a de facto general counsel for companies that don’t have one, providing legal advice in both litigation and non-litigation matters.
