While at Flaster/Greenberg, Nella focused her practice on general bankruptcy and corporate matters. Her representations included debtors, chapter 7 trustees, and creditors. She also represented a Fortune 100 company in litigation matters nationwide. Flaster also built on Nella's existing skills as a general business litigator, adding to her experience in employment litigation, environmental matters, and bankruptcy-related matters. In addition, Nella was honored to represent a female middle-school wrestler in her successful bid to join her school's all-boys team.

While at Cohen Seglias, Nella's practice was primarily corporate bankruptcy, business litigation, and corporate governance. She represented debtors, creditors, and small businesses in transactional matters and litigation. Nella worked on matters ranging from joint debtor representations in the State of Delaware, to single-asset real estate bankruptcies, to determining state standards for the practice of engineering for a national client, to landlord-tenant and small claims matters. She also assisted several businesses in creating their applications to become woman-owned business enterprises in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Nella started her legal career clerking for the Honorable Howland W. Abramson, Jr. of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, Commerce Program. While there, Nella assisted in drafting legal opinions, performing legal research, attending all hearings, and keeping track of case management matters and discovery dispute resolutions. Nella also prepared the Judge for a presentation on bad faith in the context of insurance litigation.
