About
I'm a Harvard Law School graduate and a member of the California Bar with more than 35 years of legal experience.

I've worked with individuals and companies from startups to HP and Intuit, in the US, the EU, and around the world.

I focus on business contracts (including software licenses, SaaS agreements, and distribution agreements), website legal terms and privacy policies, employment and severance agreements, and IP-related counseling.

Please note that I don't handle litigation, trademark or copyright registrations, corporate formation, taxation, family law, non-profit issues, criminal matters, or trusts and estates.

"Lauri pointed out lots of issues in our contract language, but didn't actually solve them. That was unfortunately left to myself, even though our written message conversation made clear that I wanted her to "tighten the language". Although I had requested to add her on Skype immediately, I never had a chance to chat with her about the issues she raised over voice because my Skype request was never accepted until three weeks later, long after the job was done (today I received a message asking, "Hi - who is this?"). All of my responses to her comments in Google Docs were also not followed up on, even though Google Docs will automatically send e-mails updates about comment threads in real-time. So, unfortunately I cannot recommend this experience due to poor responsiveness and leaving all the actual language edits to myself."
