I served as an Assistant State Attorney under Harry Shorstein. I tried 50 cases before a jury during my time as a prosecutor. Those trials included cases involving DUI, domestic battery, drug possession and sale, firearms offenses, burglary, theft, dealing in stolen property, aggravated battery, aggravated assault, sex crimes, attempted murder and murder. I served as a supervising attorney on two occasions, once as Senior County Court Attorney, where I supervised county court prosecutors, and again as a Division Chief, overseeing felony prosecutors, investigators and other support staff in a felony trial division.
