His many civic associations have Board Member of the Marin Economic Forum, co-founder of the North Bay Software and Information Technology Association where he served as a member of its Board of Directors, founding member of the Bay Area Multimedia Partnership (BAMP) where he served on its initial Steering Committee and as Co-Chairman of its Law & Public Policy Committee, Board member of the American Judicature Society, Board member of American Jewish Committee Northern California Region, Judge Pro Tem and settlement conference panelist for the Marin County and San Francisco County Superior Courts, Mediator for the United States District Court, Northern District of California, Arbitrator for the State Bar of California, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), California Association of Realtors and American Arbitration Association. He has provided pro bono counsel to the Bay Area Economic Forum, Marin Civic Ballet, Marin Dance Theatre, Vector Theater Company, Marin Shakespeare Company and the San Francisco Writers’ Conference.
