"Terry was hired to guide the iterative revisions on a Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) between a private and public drug development company. The MTA was not straightforward as it contained an embedded option to negotiate a subsequent licensing agreement. The largest sticking point with the counterparty was the IP language. Terry is a clear communicator and is one of the fundamental reasons this transaction was successful. The negotiations were start-stop, and Terry was responsive to several urgent situations that arose. He clearly communicated what he thought was reasonable and unreasonable based on his experience, which was received well by our counterparty.
