Develop claim construction positions, prepare Markman briefs, and participate in claim construction hearings. Take and defend depositions and argue discovery motions before federal courts. Work with expert witnesses to prepare expert reports. Conduct prior art investigations and develop related defenses. Coordinate strategic prosecution and global enforcement of patent portfolios. Prepare non-infringement, invalidity, and patentability opinions. Prosecute utility and design patent applications. Enforce trademarks and execute seizure orders for counterfeit goods. Experience in computer, electrical, mechanical, and medical arts, among others.
